As Nina and Bella walk away, Paul looks at Nina's sexy legs. Damn, she is hot! He wants her, but it looks like she is not interested. He will have to ask Bella for help to win over this sexy little angel. He saw her before in her costume when she came to swim at their house, but he never really looked as Nina was always in the pool or had a towel wrapped around her body. He never realized that she was this hot. He looks at her one last time before the bell rings. He wishes this day will go by fast as he wants to ask Bella to help him. Nina is a few months younger than him, and they have some classes together. He will have to make a plan to sit close to her in every class. He needs to get close to her. Bella better helps him. He will do anything for Bella to help him.

The first class they have together is science. They have to pair up in groups of two to do a science project. Paul walks to Nina. She panics and wants to turn to the girl next to her. She and the girl normally pair up, but today Clark grabs her partner to help his brother, and Nina is standing there without a partner. She has no chose but to pair up with Paul. Paul looks at his brother, mouthing him a thank you. Clark smiles. He knows his brother better than anyone, and he knows Paul is in love. He can feel it. They are a twin, and sometimes they don't need words to communicate.

Paul looks at Nina. They need to do a task, and they will need to work together after school. She does not look too happy about it. Paul is not sure why. He thought that she would be like all the other girls. They would give their front teeth to be in a team with him! He smiles. He will get her. He is like his grandfather and his father. They are a one-woman man. He will never cheat on his girlfriend, and she needs to know it. Maybe if she gets to know him better, she will see he is not like everyone says he is. he is not a playboy. He will love her and treat her the way she deserves to be treated. He is determined to win Nina's heart.

Nina looks at Paul. She is shy and does not know what to do. Act like you don't care, Nina, she tells herself. She needs to stay calm and pretend she is not interested. She remembers Bella's advice. He must fight for her heart. She tries to look calm, although her heart is beating like a drum in her chest.

"So we have a choice of two experiments. Which one should we chose?" She asks Paul. Paul looks in a daze. It is like he is not even listening to her. Damn, why does he have to be so hot?

"Hello?" She says after a couple of minutes. He did not answer her yet.

"Sorry, what?" Paul asks. He was looking at her lips and thinking about how bad he wants to kiss her.

"I asked which experiment we should do," Nina says. She can see Paul was not concentrating at all. Wow, does he feel the same about her as she feels about him? Is that why he chose her as his partner? Never Paul Stevens can have any girl in school. Why would he choose her? Nina is a bit confused.

"Whatever one you want to do," Paul says, trying to stay cool.

"Okay, let's do the first one," Nina says. She can see Paul is not with her right now. Is he maybe regretting having her as a partner? She looks at Paul but what she sees in his eyes makes her blush. Paul realizes he had been staring at her lips, and she is blushing. Damn, Paul, get yourself together. You are acting like a lovesick bloody little boy. You are one. He thinks to himself. Why has he never seen Nina in this light? The bell rings.

"Okay, Nina, see you after school so we can do the project. Shall we do it at my house or mine?" He asks. Nina thinks a bit if they do it at her house, they will probably be alone as her brother and sister will still be busy. If she goes to his house, Bella will be there to help her.

"Your house, I will be there at about three," She says. Paul is a bit disappointed as he knows Bella and Clark will be home. He was hoping to get a bit of alone time with her. He is a bit angry.

"Fine. See you at three then," Paul says and walks away. Nina looks at Paul and wonders what she has done wrong to anger him so much. Oh well, he will have to get over it! Every class they have together after that, Paul makes sure to switch seats to sit near Nina. At first, Nina does not notice it, but after a few classes, she can not help noticing it, and her heart feels happy. Maybe Bella was right. After this makeover, Paul does notice her.

After school, Paul waits for Bella. Today he will give her a ride. He needs her help. As Bella walks out of school, she and Nina are talking.

"You really think, Paul, likes me?" Nina asks Bella. Bella smiles as she sees her brother staring at them. His eyes are just on Nina.

"I know he likes you. He can not keep his eyes off you," Bella laughs.

"Really?" Nina asks.

"Yeah, he is staring at you right now," Bella can not help holding her laugher. She knows her brother is in love. She also knew he would be if he saw Nina like she really looked. Not the girl in baggy clothes with a hoody.

"What a ride?" Nina asks as Lea stops to pick her up. Lea has planned a surprise for her little Nina. Nina just got her license, and she bought her a yellow Porche to celebrate. Yellow is Nina's favourite colour, and it will fit her new image perfectly. She can not wait to show Nina.

"Not today, Nina. I think Paul is waiting for me to help him win your heart. Remember to play hard to get," Bella laughs.'

"I bet you are wrong," Nina says.

"I will call you later and tell you all the detail," Bella says and walks over to where Paul is waiting.

Nina gets in the car with Lea, but Lea is not driving home today.

"Mom, where are we going," Nina asks. She needs to be at Bella's house at three to work on the science project with Paul.

"Just a quick stop somewhere. It will not take long," Lea says. They soon stop in front of the car dealership, and Nina looks at Lea in surprise.

"Mom! No way! You got me a car?" Nina asks as the yellow Porche is standing there with a big red ribbon on it.

"Can't I treat my little princess?" Lea asks. Igor walks out of the dealership smiling. Nina is his princess and always will be as he promised her a long time ago when her sister was born. Nina gets out of the car and first hugs Lea, then runs to her daddy and hugs him as well.

"Thank you! I could not have asked for better parents. You know the kids in school used to bully me and tell me that I was adopted because you felt sorry for me, but I know better. I know you love me like your own daughter, and you will always be my mommy and daddy," Nina says, and both Lea and Igor have to pick a tear away as they heard this. They thought maybe Nina was suffering because of them, but she loves them, and they know it. Nina drives home in her new car. She is happy and loves Lea and Igor. Not only because of what they have done for her over the years but because they are the only mom and day she ever really knew. Over the years, her birth mother visited her, but she never had that bond with Lea. She loves her birth mother, but to her, Lea is her only mother.

"Bella, please help me," Paul begs Bella as they walk into the house.

"Nope," Bella says. Paul has been begging her from school to help him win Nina's heart.

"What is going on between you two? Why won't you help your brother, Bella?" Val asks.

"Mom tell Bella to help me, please," Paul begs his mother.

"I will not help him, mom, even if you tell me to help him!" Bella says.

"Okay, you two first tell me what the heck is going on?" Val asks. She knows Bella she will help her brothers whenever she cans.

"He wants me to help him to win my best friend over, but I am not sure he will not hurt her. So I refuse to help him," Bella says.

"Who is this girl?" Val asks. Bella gets a naughty look on her face.

"Who says it is a girl?" Bella asks to piss Paul off even more.

"Bella! I swear! Mom, she is testing me today. It is Nina," Paul says and glares at his sister. Val laughs as she sees the naughty look on Bella's face.

"She is teasing you, Paul, but why all of a sudden, Nina. You have been in the same class as her for years now?" Val asks.

"Exactly my question, mom," Bella says. Sticking out her tongue at Paul.

"Mom, I think I was blind not seeing her before and just how beautiful she is," Paul says.

"I gave her a makeover, and now all of a sudden, my brother blind eyes opened," Bella says dramatically.

"I would have seen her eventually. You just opened my "blind" eyes earlier," Paul says. Val laughs.

"She is coming over at three. We are going to work on a science project, so please disappear, Bella," Paul says as rush upstairs to take a shower and get dressed in something nice.

"So does Bella like Paul as well," Val asks Bella, who is sitting down to eat something.

"Yeah, but don't tell him, mom, he needs to fight for her heart. Nina is very insecure, and she needs Paul to fight for her and show her he really likes her for her," Bella says. She tells Val everything that Nina went thought at school, and Val understand. The two of them plots not to give Paul any alone time with Nina. They laugh. Paul also needs to realize he can not just get everything in life by clicking his fingers. Girls usually throw themselves at him, and he needs to learn how to fight for the one he really wants.

Nina arrives, and Val offers them some snacks and says they can work on their project in her study. Bella and Val keep popping in to bring snacks or cooldrink. Paul feels like killing them, but he keeps smiling as he can not lose his cool in front of Nina. All Nina is talking about is the science project. Paul keeps looking at her soft lips as she talks. He walks over to the study door and locks it. Nina looks at him.

"What are you doing? Why are you locking the door, Paul?" Nina asks nervously.

"Because if my mom or Bella comes in here one more time, I am going to explode, and if you don't stop talking bloody science, I am going to lose it! Let's talk about this chemistry between us instead," Paul says as he walks closer to Nina and kisses her. Nina is taken by surprise. Nina remembers Bella's words and tries to push Paul away, but he holds her tighter. Nina can not resist Paul and kisses him back. Paul smiles. He knew she liked him, as well. He pulls away, and Nina is left breathless. Paul smiles.

"Nina, will you be my girlfriend?" Paul asks. Nina looks at him and blushes. She does not know what to do.

"I will have to think about it," Nina says as she goes on with the science project as if nothing happened. Paul sighs. He walks to her again and hugs her to his heart.

"I am not like everyone thinks, Nina. I will treat you right, I promise," Paul says.

"Okay, then I will be your girlfriend," Nina says, and Paul smiles happily. He unlocks the door, and Bella and Val almost fell on the floor as he pulls it open fast.

"Bella! Mom! Were you listening to us at the door?" Paul asks, and Nina laughs as Bella and Val are red in the face. Damn, why did Paul had to open the door so fast?

"No, we were just wondering why the door was locked," Val says, and Bella shakes her head. To confirm what her mother said. Paul smiles. He knows his mother and sister were eavesdropping.
