Revenge 3 : Blake's Revenge

The Party

Time goes by fast, and soon the party of the twins is upon them. Bella is excited as the twins, and Blake does not expect anything. Blake's birthday is the following week, during school time, so tonight will be the perfect night to celebrate his birthday as well. Blake has no idea he was helping Bella planning his own birthday. Bella just told her aunt Elaine to add some more decorations for Blake. The twins are expecting a surprise party at home and are a bit disappointed when Val and Charlie tell them they are just going to eat at Harmonies and it will only be them, the family and a few good friends. They wanted a big party as they are turning eighteen.

"Wow, Bella, you could have at least did something," Paul says, disappointed.

"Yeah, we are your brothers, you know," Clark says. He wanted to impress that little rebel called Tammy. She ignores him at school, and even if he tries to get near her, she walks away. He is really disappointed.

"It is not my idea! You can thank mom and dad for that. I tried to arrange a party, but they decided against it," Bella says. Deep inside, she is smiling.

"Tell me at least Nina and Tammy will be there!" Clark says.

"I don't know. Mom and dad did not tell me who they invited," Bella lies. She knows Tammy and Nina will be there.

"You are useless as a sister," Paul complains. Bella looks at them, pretending to be hurt. Paul feels sorry for her and hugs her.

"We know you tried, sis, sorry we are assholes," Clark says. He hugs his sister.

That night everyone gets ready to go to the party, including Blake's mom. She ate the last couple of days so she could be stronger. Even if she can only stay for a while, at least she would be there for her son. She is sure his father would not attend the party as he hates his own son. He blames Blake for the death of her sister. She knows he gives Blake everything money can buy, but he never gives Blake any love. It breaks her heart. She should have been there for her son. Blake went and talked to the old butler. Blake thinks back at what the butler told him. Blake taped the whole conversation.

"Your mother was standing at the top of the stairs, and her sister was about two stairs away from her. I saw your mother's sister hitting your mother. She stumbled back and lost her balance, then that woman pretended to be pushed. She threw herself down the stairs while screaming, 'Why did you do this to me? You are my sister'. In the study, your father stormed out and only saw that woman lying at the bottom of the stairs and your mother standing at the top. I tried to explain to your father what happened, but he would not listen to me. He rushed to the hospital with that woman. She gave birth to you and died. Your father came back, and the police came with him. He wanted your mother to be locked up. I could not let it happen and told the police want happening. I also gave them the surveillance tapes from the cameras. Your mother was acquitted, but your father kept blaming her. She is a weak woman, your mother. She never stood up for herself. She went through hell and back with that man. Young sir, one day you will have to take revenge for this poor woman. She loves you like her own son. I know she never showed it for a long time, but I know she loves you. In the beginning, after you were born, she would look after you like you are her baby. She is all you have," The old butler had tears in his eyes when he told the story to Blake. He also gave him copies of the surveillance tapes. Blake was thankful for it.

As Blake goes downstairs to go to the party, he asks the butler where his mother is.

"She went out, young sir. She did not say where she was going," Blake is surprised that his mother actually went out. He is glad she is going out for a change. She needs to go out more. He hopes she is strong enough to stay out by herself. The driver is driving her. She will be just fine. If she feels bad, he can bring her home. Blake gets in his mustang and drives to the party. As he gets there, Bella is waiting for him. She is so happy as Blake's mother came. His father did not come, but that is okay. As long as one of his parents are there.  She and Blake walk upstairs, and everyone is waiting for the twins to arrive.

"We should wait here for the twins," Bella says, and Blake waits with her. Soon the twins arrive. They do not look happy. At least Blake is here. He is their best friend, and he is a good match for their sister. They see how Blake respects her and won't even kiss her as he feels she is still too young.

"Hi, bro", The twins' greats him, and they do their special handshake.

"Hi, let's go have this dinner, and after that, we can go party," Paul says. He is still a bit mad at his parents. The lights in the banquet hall are dark.

"You sure the dinner is here?" They ask Bella.

"Yeah, I think we are the first to arrive," Bella says.

As she turns on the lights, everyone jumps out shouting.

"Surprise!"

They all start singing happy birthday to Paul, Clark and Blake. Blake looks at Bella in surprise. She tricked him! There are three birthday cakes. Blake sees there is one for him as well. He glares at Bella, and she blows him a kiss. This is the first time someone had a surprise birthday party for him. Blake smiles. Bella is really something else. Charlie goes to light Clark's candles on his cake. Val goes and lights Paul's candles on his cake, and to Blake's surprise, his mother goes and lights his candles on his cake. Blake has tears in his eyes. He looks away. He does not want anyone to see his weaker side. He looks at Bella, who is holding his hand. They walk over to the cake, and on the count of three, the young men blow out their candles. Everyone comes to congratulate them. The twins look at their sister. They should have known she would plan something. They are glad she included Blake. Normally they would stick Blake for cake and a milkshake on his birthday as he never wanted to celebrate it. Blake and Bella go to sit with his mother. The food gets serves, and to Blake's surprise, his mother is eating. She laughs and talks to Bella. She really likes this young girl. She hardly ever talks, and Blake is happy. Blake and the twin got a lot of presents. Bella gives the present she bought him to Blake in private. It is a watch engraved with their names at the back. He will always wear it and never takes it off. His mother hands him a bank card.

"This is some of the money you will inherit one day," She whispers to Blake. He knows she did it to make him independent from his father. He knows his father will never approve of his plan to join the army. He is thankful for the money. At least now he knows he can support himself. He does not need that man's money anymore.

The party is in full swing when Clark walks up to Tammy and asks her to dance. Tammy has nowhere to run this time, and he takes her hand and pulls her into his arms. Bella sees it and shows the DJ to change the song to slow dance. Tammy is feeling very uncomfortable. She like Clark a lot, and being so close to him makes her feel all hot. Clark pulls her closer to him.

"Relax, it feels like you have swallowed a broomstick," Clark tells Tammy, and she has no choice but to relax against his body.

"I don't know how to dance these dances," Tammy whispers back.

"Just follow my lead," Clark says. Before the song could end, Clark dances to an open door and quickly pulls Tammy outside. He holds her even closer in his arms and kisses her. Tammy tries to get away, but soon she forgets about it and starts kissing Clark back.

"What is going in here?" They hear a deep voice behind them. Billy is standing behind them.

"s**t! I mean sorry, sir," Clark says, embarrassed. Billy pretends to be angry and folds his arms.

"What is your intentions with my daughter, young man?" Billy asks. He is close to laughing as he sees Clark panicking.

"I want to date your daughter, sit, but she is a bit hardass," Clark says, and Billy bursts out laughing. Tammy thought it is her escape.

"You have my blessing, Clark. It is about time Tammy has a decent boyfriend. Treat her right," Billy says, and Tammy tries to escape with her dad. Clark grabs her hand and pulls her back into his embrace. He kisses her as she has never been kissed before. When he lets go of her, she looks at him angrily.

"You cheated! You have my father on your side now!" Tammy says, and she glares at Clark.

"Your dad and my dad is life long friends. Of course, he is going to be happy about us dating," Clark says.

"Well, you don't have my mother's permission. She is the badass one," Tammy says.

"Oh, he has my blessing," Tammy hears her mother says from behind her. Damn, both her parents have turned against her. Sherley is happy. She knows Clark will be a good influence on Tammy.

"Well, who said I want to date you?" Tammy asks Clark and looks at him with a daring look.

"Your lips, my dear," Clark says with a smile. Damn, why does he have to be so damn sexy? Why can't she resists him. She tried to avoid him this last few weeks, hoping she will forget the first kiss he gave her. Instead, she has been dreaming about him. Not only at night but daydreaming as well.

Clare came to the party with one of the twin's friends. She is not happy with what she is seeing. Blake is with Bella. Paul is all over Nina the whole night, and now Clark has gone outside with Tammy. She has to think of a plan to break up at least one of the couples. She wants to hurt Bella Stevens, and she can only do it through her brothers or Blake. She needs to think of something and break up one of the couples. She wants a rich boyfriend, and she doesn't care which one of the three will be her husband one day. She hates Bella for having everything in life. She knows Blake is a hard nut to crack. He is not really emotional and will not believe any story her hears. He does not want to hear anything bad about his little Bella. She knows he will not even look at her. She has been tried for years to go steady with him, but he will only use her to go to a function, and they have been on and off. He will never choose her as his wife one day. Paul is very in love with Nina that she can see, and Clark only had eyes for Tammy all night. She will have to watch these couples for the next few days and then decide after which she will go. She wants a rich husband, and she does not care which of the three guys she gets as long as she gets one and can get back at Bella Stevens.
