Once the event was over our friends rushed towards us to congratulate us. I and Daniel came in second, a guy who went for Mac and Cheese took the first position. Predictably, Julius and Jonathan came in first.
" Told you guys that Jonathan was awesome, " JJ gushed hugging Jonathan tightly to himself. He looked like a proud father. Jonathan looked slightly uncomfortable at the too much affection he was getting and had a stiff smile on his face.
One thing I observed with Jonathan is that he is shy and aloof when it comes to touch except when it is me. I can say that I am the only one he has really let down his guard with. Even though he has know the other guys for sometime he still keeps them at arms length and treats them with some certain reserve that disappears when it comes to me.
