She had no idea what I was planning, but I had her right where I wanted her. “Good,” I said, and I took her hand. “Excuse me!” she blurted. “What are you doing?” I glanced back at her. “I’m taking you with me, obviously.” “You don’t really have to take my hand.” “Humor me, okay?” I told her.
