Hiroki went to campus the next morning, although he felt reluctant to see Alyia after what happened yesterday. He not only felt guilty and embarrassed. Not to mention he feared Alyia would resent him after yesterday’s blast. He waited for her and Riko at the entrance of the campus since early morning to make sure he wouldn’t miss them. Today was the first day of the week, which meant he had no classes with them, which made it harder for him to spend time with her and properly talk.
Alyia and Riko entered the campus. Seeing Hiroki waiting at the entrance made her turn around and walk away. She didn’t plan to meet him first thing in the morning and spoil her entire day by talking to him.
“Wait.” he called after her when Alyia turned around, avoiding him. Riko followed her.
