The Light Within (Poetry)

265 Words
In the mirror's gaze, a world unfolds, A canvas blank, with stories untold, Yet the gaze you cast is fraught with doubt, Unseen, the beauty that whispers out. Breathe deep the air, the sky, the light, For in your heart resides the might, To love yourself, in days of gray, To find the dawn in twilight's fray. A gentle touch, a tender care, In quiet moments, breathe the air, Know this truth, profound and pure, Your spirit shines, a light secure. In whispered thoughts and dreams unspoken, In every tear, in hearts once broken, There lies a strength, a love profound, In you, a world that's love-bound. Unfold the wings you dare to hide, In the echoes where your dreams abide, The scars you bear, the stories they tell, Are paths to where your spirit dwells. In laughter shared, in solace sought, In every battle bravely fought, Embrace the flaws, the perfect mar, For they are part of who you are. In stillness find the song unsung, The poetry of self begun, A symphony of love's own art, Composed within your beating heart. Forgive the past, the shadows long, They've led you here, where you belong, In the grace of self, a love refined, In every fiber, heart, and mind. Love yourself, in storm or calm, In the silent prayer, the healing balm, For in your soul, a star does dwell, A universe, where love will swell. So take this vow, in light or dark, To hold yourself, a sacred spark, And know in every rise and fall, You are the love that conquers all.
