  They entered the house quietly, holding hands. Isaias yawned loudly and groaned.   “Sweetheart let’s go to bed. I’m beat.”   “Sounds good to me.” She walked with him up the stairs to his bedroom and then flung herself onto the mattress and stretched her arms outward. He tossed her overnight bag onto the floor at the foot of the bed, and she heard her phone buzzing from within. “Who the hell is messaging me now?”   “Not sure but whoever it is can wait until morning.” At her frown he laughed and dug the phone out, “or it will bother you all night to not know.” He looked at the display. “Sandy wants to know where you are because Merlin is not home.”   “Take a selfie and send it to her.”   He was snickering as he did what she said.
