Jason POV
I stared in disbelief as Wayne worked on Lisa. She was the least of people I'd ever expected to see come out of that wood if I am to guess.
Wayne worked silently on her glancing at me in intervals. Tears filled my eyes but remained unshed. I could not still believe my pack escaped, perhaps unscathed. Lisa said they are all alive which means most of them, if not all. My heart pound with joy but I felt anger on the other hand; I found it difficult to heal them both. I tried countless of times to heal them like I did Kyle but nothing happened.
Alex, the wolf that accompanied her lay in the other bed sleeping off the pain while he healed but Lisa needed all the help she could get. Wayne told me she is a witch which was quite a surprise to me. Though we were never close back home
