Chapter 10 Wexhall’s office, just beyond the high fences that cordoned off the G13COMM area in the Colorado air base, overlooked a small road and the seemingly endless rows of barracks. The colonel adjusted the blinds and stared out for a few moments before taking a seat in his leather chair to go through the file on Lee. His backlist included Blackwater, the private security company, specialising in corporate intelligence. No parents or family were known, but he had come highly recommended to G13COMM from every one of his employers. They must have missed something. Too clean. He picked up the phone and summoned Sergeant Major Stark. Minutes later, Sergeant Major Stark knocked and entered. “Sergeant Major, change into civvies, take a specialist tactical team and go to Lee’s house.”
