Chapter 19 Frank paid the bill and casually asked the cafe owner if he’d heard about a helicopter in trouble over the island. Unless it had crashed without anyone’s knowledge, then the airport was the most logical place to try. The cafe owner then called them a cab. As the taxi took them across toward V.C. Bird Airport, Frank got the same answer from the driver – a rumour about a helicopter trailing smoke as it flew – but not much else. They paid the driver and walked into the main building.
