Chapter 12

Derek's POV

I stood there awkwardly while my Uncle was staring at my teacher with immense love in his eyes. I really wish his wolf doesn't flip out and Mark her right here.! That would get us in trouble.

"So you are?" Miss Johnson asked.

"Nicholas Malloy. His Uncle. My brother is away for a while" uncle replied in a soft voice.

"Oh! Very well.. so Derek is actually a good student but today he got into a fight. He left the class without even looking at me for my permission. He broke that poor boy's nose. I didn't know Derek was this violent" she said looking at me.

"I'll take care of it. He is a good child but he gets this side from his dad" Uncle nervously laughed.

“His father is an Asshole” Uncle Nick said again.

“I’m sorry?” Miss. Johnson stared wide eyed at the curse word.

“f**k, I’m sorry,” he said but realised he just used another.

“s**t! The f**k I am nervous!” Uncle Nick said and I smile because I know the reason behind his nervousness. Oh! This is fun.

“Okay.I am sorry for that. Continue, please,” Uncle Nick smiled at her sheepishly.

"Anyways.. I just wanted to let you know about it. Because Derek is a good student I talked to the principal about dropping his suspension" Miss Johnson concluded.

"That's so sweet of you. Thanks a lot" Uncle Nick smiled.

Miss. Johnson gave a dismissive smile but Uncle just wasn't moving from his place. I cleared my throat, making him come back to reality. He smiled and stood up to walk out. As soon as we walked out of her office Uncle Nick's face glowed. I never saw him this happy and for some reason, it felt good.

"Thank You Derek! If you hadn't called, I would have lived my whole life without my mate. Did you see her?! Goddamn! She is so beautiful.! My mate..!! What is her name? Who is she?" He couldn't contain his excitement.

"Uhh.. Miss. Carolina Johnson. There is also a rumor that her husband left her and later divorced her for some younger girl" I shrugged.

"What a d**k!" Uncle Nick muttered making me laugh.

Now I know where I got this potty mouth!! Runs in the Malloy family.

"Anyways.. I am glad he left her. Now that I know about her. I'll pick you up and drop you off at school everyday. Maybe you should get in trouble often Der. Just punch random guy's jaws or break their bones" He shrugged with excitement.

"Oh God! Let's leave already!!" I laughed.

Looking at his excitement I can't help but think about my mate. I think my face just gave it off about what I was thinking.

"Less than a month my boy! You are gonna turn 18. I wonder who is the next Queen" He whispered since we are still in school.

By the time we walked out Kevin,Kian and Abigail were already waiting and they just squealed when they saw Uncle Nick instead of dad or Elijah.

"Are we going to the Dark Knight Pack?" Kian asked with amusement.

"Nah buddy. I'm coming to yours to have some personal talk with my brother" Uncle replied and I already know what that personal talk is about.

I shook my head with a smile and we all piled in his car before leaving the human territory.

"No! You were the one who went on a date with Isaac" there goes Kevin

"And you were the one who flirted with my friend Helen" replied Abigail.

"Oh yeah! What was that line again? Whenever I look at you, I see a future with you?!" Kian paused while laughing "Damn!! That kid needs to chill with pickup lines"

"What was your line with Arabella?! Are you ice cream? Because I want to lick you?!! Damn...you are fake cheesy" Abigail laughed back with the same excitement.

"And you -"

"Stop it,will you!" Uncle Nick yelled, creating a wave of silence in the car.

It's been years since they know each other and not a minute passes without those three fighting with each other.

Once we reached the pack house Uncle Nick went straight to Dad's office with a huge smile on his face. I could just only imagine how happy he is to finally find his mate. I'm happy for him as well.

"How's school?" Mom welcomed me with a hug.

"Everything's fine mom," I said, returning her hug. Her warmth fills me up all the time.

"Luna! Luna!!" Uncle Elijah came to us calling for mom.

Mom's lovey demeanor changed in seconds and she went stiff. She gave a nod gesturing to her Gamma to tell what he was trying to say. He looked so red from all the running he did. At one point I thought the news was going to be so bad.

But he gave a subtle smile and mindlinked mom about something.

Mom's face instantly brightened and she broke into tears.

"Mom! You ok?" I asked, holding her shoulders.

"Oh! These are happy tears you silly" she smacked my arm with a smile.

"Escort them Elijah. I'll inform Jaxon about this" mom gave a dismissal nod that made Uncle Elijah bow his head and leave.

"Jaxon!! Skye!! Tyler!!" Mom screamed and everyone came in an instant.

"What?" Dad asked with concern and worry in his eyes.

Uncle Nick looked worried too.

"He is coming. He is finally coming." Mom said with tears still in her eyes.

The moment mom said that Aunt Skye squealed and clapped her hands like a crazy woman while Dad and uncle Tyler looked at each other and sighed.

"Hey! I heard that, that i***t is arriving in minutes," there came Aunt Ashley with a huge smile on her face and Rafael followed with a huge scowl.

Who is this person? He made all the women here smile with happiness and brought scowls on the faces of all the men.

We all sat in the living room while Abigail kept on bugging me about who that person was. How would I even know? They didn't even mention his name or anything.

Moments later Kevin, Kian and Abigail were whispering and yelling at each other. What could they do anyways unless that's fight and bicker!

All the three men sat with deep scowls on their faces that made me frightened for a second. Is this guy that bad? But the situation doesn't seem so with the women.. They are clapping their hands with their eyes and focusing completely on the door.

"Why is he coming now?" Dad muttered, making mom gasp.

Mom opened her mouth to say something but was interrupted by Aunt Ashley's loud pitch scream.

We all looked at why and there stood a man. I instantly knew he was a human. His scent gave it all. He is also tall. Like.. really tall for a human. His hair was light brown and he had goggles on.

All the women froze in the room. He removed his goggles and smiled looking at Mom. His green eyes blazed with affection that even I got jealous for a moment. I can only imagine what dad might be feeling.

"Eeekkk" Mom squealed before jumping into his arms making him almost lose his balance.

"Bet you didn't see this coming" he whispered and mom nodded.

"I missed you" he kissed my mom's forehead while mom mum mumbled an I miss you too.

He then hugged Ashley and made fun of her baby bump. That little peanut sized pup..is a miracle pup. Even the Oracle couldn't do anything about it for years , then the Moon Goddess heard their prayers and blessed them with a pup.

"Skye!!" He mumbled before hugging her and Aunt Skye blushed.

Wait...did she just blush.? I know this human is handsome but .. I just don't know.

And I feel like I saw him somewhere. I just couldn't put my finger where it was.. but I am sure I saw him.

"You are still the same Mia. Beautiful as ever" he said, making my mom give him a genuine smile.

"Stop it Tal." She nudged him.

Tal? Is he the one??

Abigail and I looked at each other before yelling.

"Uncle Tal Fishman????" We yelled in Unison gaining his attention.

"The one and only," he said, nodding.

Damn he looked so cool in pictures and Skype. So this guy was my mom's best friend that mom always keeps talking about. I always wanted to meet him to know more about mom and dad's school love story but never got any time. Now that he is here.. I am curious about everything.
