Nikolai turned briefly to me, his eyes softening as he gave a smile, then turned away, his lips lightly sucked in. He said nothing more, and I leaned back, watching the other cars around us. We soon arrived, and I got out, then waited for him as he took out a few things from the back seat. I watched as he leaned away from the cat, his eyes squinted as he closed the door, his hair flying with the wind. I felt my breath catch like I was seeing him for the very first time, all over again. "Iris!" I turned, and four of my course mates were waving me over, bright smiles on their faces. "You should go," Nikolai said, then met my eyes. "I will see you in... three hours?" I nodded. "Thanks for the ride." He only smiled, then turned back to what he was doing, arranging some files in his hand
