Nikolai's lips parted, his eyes darkening as he took me in. Slowly, he nodded, watching me like this would be the first time he was seeing me.
I stepped into the steamy shower, my chest heaving as my heart pounded like crazy in my chest. Nikolai didn't cover the distance and merely watched as I walked up to him, the water now pelting down on me, my hair flattening against my face and back.
I finally stood in front of him, then met his eyes, my lips parting so the water ran off my lips, wetting them, the same way they caressed Nikolai's face, his body, snuck into the parts of him that my hands have never been.
Safe to say, I was jealous of the water.
His hand suddenly came below my chin, and raised my face till I was eye to eye with him, till there was no means of escape anymore.
