"I am pregnant, Mica," Karen suddenly spat the words out, seeing no need to keep it any longer. Besides, Mica would learn of it eventually as she was hoping that she would be the one to look after her child for her after he is born.
Mica blinked, her lips slightly parted as Karen's words resounded in her head.
"What did you say?" Mica asked, recollecting herself, even though she heard Karen clearly the first time, she wanted to hear her say the words again.
"You heard me, Mica, I am pregnant," Karen repeated, gazing into Mica's face, even though she could see how surprised she looked, "it's crazy, right?" Karen added, furrowing her brows a little, knowing she shouldn't have said the words as if she was excited about the news herself, she only said the words in that manner after hearing
