I could still feel the warmth of Kurtis’s lips on mine, the taste of our shared passion lingering as he held me close. My heart was still racing, my body tingling from every touch, every whispered word. I’d never felt this alive, this loved. As I rested against him, catching my breath, he suddenly pulled away, grinning like he was up to something.
