I was so excited for the weekend because I can rest all day on my bed and not run from hall to hall just to get a coffee which my boss doesn't even appreciate . But kinda bummed that I won't be able to see his cute face and sexy body. Not that I have ever seen his body but I know that he must workout regularly to maintain that body that he hides under his perfectly tailored suits.

Sophia, what on earth are you up to? Hope there are no feelings emerging for him. He's just a cold ruthless man with no heart ! And your boss. So better not bring these thoughts in your tiny brain.

Okay focus on work Sophia , there's a lot of work to do before you get away from your sexy boss. So without wasting a minute I started working on the files that sir gave. While I was doing my work it suddenly hit me that Emma was coming next week which made me ecstatic , since we have never stayed apart that long.

It would be great to have her back. We can have all the fun like we used to do before. I also has to go shopping for more work clothes and some for events that I'm supposed to attend with Mr. Smith as his assistant. I am anxious to spend time with him outside of work. What if my emotions get the better of me? Nobody knows how I'll act then.

It's not the time to think about that. Focus on work right now.

Completing my work , as I was about to eat my lunch, which I packed for myself in the morning, I got a call from Calvin Sir asking to come in his office ASAP.

"Yes Sir", I asked him when I entered his office.

"Knock before you come in Ms.Brown". He said in a no nonsense voice.

"Sir, I thought there's an emergency so I didn't knock." I tried to reason with him even though I knew he was right.

"Whatever it is , it doesn't give you the right to barge in my office just like that without permission."

"Sorry sir, won't happen again." I apologized for the millionth time this week.

Rich bastard. What does he even think of himself. He is speaking as if I never knock. It was just a one time thing because he called me in quickly.

"So I called you because I want you to order lunch for me." He replied in his arrogant yet sexy voice.

"Which cuisine would you like to eat Sir". I asked grudgingly.

"Whatever , just make sure it has low fat and more proteins." He said.

Hell I am not a nutritionist , how am I supposed to know all that. Jeez, this guy will kill me one day.

"Okay Sir , I'll order right away and would you mind tea or coffee with it." I tried being polite for the sake of my job.

"No nothing, you can go now." He replied in a low voice.

Walking back to the desk I was thinking what could I possibly order for this angry young man which will fulfill his criteria. I think seafood would be perfect for him. Since he wants more protein and less fat. So I ordered tuna sandwich for him. God I was scared if he would like it or not. What if he gets angry based on the food I order. He was already stressed today because of the work load hence he would get angry very quickly.

Fuck it Soph just order, don't stress.

I kept my phone back on the table and started eating my lunch. As I finished eating, a fellow employee came to me and said I looked pretty in my black dress. I appreciated him but deep down I wanted someone else's compliments.

After some time passed, Calvin's lunch came by and I took it to drop by his office. I KNOCKED twice at his door.

"Come in." He said.

I entered the office and he was in the same position as before, eyes focused on his laptop screen.

"Sir your tuna sandwich." I said nervously, hoping he doesn't scold me.

"Keep it on the table." He said with zero f*****g expression.

This man annoys me. At least say something other than okay if not anything. Words are running out to express this man, seriously.

As I was about to exit, he called me back. He asked me to reply to all his business mails regarding queries and future meetings and report to him if there was anything that required his attention. I went back to my desk and started with the work. Today was such a hectic day at the office. Since this is such a big company all the departments are flooded with workload and since it's the weekend everyone wants to complete their work to enjoy a little off time. Everyone here is a hard worker including the boss and that is the thing I like most about working here. It's not like all the interns and juniors are doing all the work and head of departments are taking the appreciation. The work is equal and even some heads of departments work more than their employees. It's a healthy work environment. I'm glad to be a part of such a company and its even great that I get to work with the brains of the company itself. I've learnt so much by working with him and he's truly a genius but the media and the gossip magazines never focus on such things. They just see him for his looks and playboy image. But there's more to him than that which the world doesn't know about.

Look at you defending him. How cute.

I'm not defending him, I'm just stating facts and emphasizing on the fact that the world will only judge based on the little knowledge they know about you, but it doesn't matter. What really matters are the opinions of the people close to you, who know you better than yourself and want the best for you always and will try their best to guide you in the right direction.

It was past seven now and I was almost done with my work. The office was almost empty but Calvin was still here working but he allowed me to go home when I was finished and I was immensely grateful for that. I packed my things, grabbed my phone and walked my way back home.

As I walked down the street , I was thinking if he really checked me out when he asked me to return or is it just me overthinking as usual. I mean maybe I'm reading too much between the lines. Or maybe he was really flabbergasted. But it's nothing he hasn't seen before. I mean he has been with models and actresses who look like freaking goddesses and I'm nothing in comparison to them but that doesn't mean I am ordinary. I've great curves and I'm really proud of my body. So yeah well maybe he was appreciating me for that. Oh man, I'm so confused what to think.

Shut it off Sophia. Focus on the amazing weekend ahead of you.

It was around eight when I reached back home after shopping for some groceries because the fridge was almost empty and I can't live on takeout alone. As soon as I opened my apartment I saw four huge suitcases in the living room. At first I panicked that someone must have broke in but since the door was alright so it must be someone with the keys. And only my parents and Emma have the keys to the apartment. My parents never drop by unannounced which only meant Emma was back .

OH MY GOD. I saw her coming out of her room.

"EMMA!" I screamed and hugged her so tightly she just laughed hugging me back.

"I am back babe. I missed you so much I can't tell." She said while hugging me.

We were hugging each other for I don't know how much time. I was so happy and she was too.

"This the best surprise ever. This calls for a good weekend." I said delightedly.

"For sure , Soph. We gonna par-tay tomorrow." She giggled excitedly.

"So tell me what's new." Emma asked with a wink after we settled down on the couch.

"Nothing man I just got back from the office. My boss makes me work as if I am a robot. Also he never appreciates my work and is always you know all quiet like just do the work and get the f**k out of my office types. Cold ruthless guy." I said rolling my eyes.

"Gee, relax girl. You gotta calm down." Emma said while laughing.

"Yeah laugh as much you want to , I'll ask you when you start working and will have to deal with an asshole boss. Then I'll laugh on you."

"Hey! You don't know how much I suffered there. They were bastards too okay. Its not only your boss."

"OKAY , Emma demma. I think you should get some sleep you must be tired. Have you eaten anything or should I make you something ?" I asked her.

"Oh how much I missed this , you making me food , our talks and basically everything. And no I've already eaten on my way here."

"Ok good and I missed you too. Love you bro, now go sleep. Good night."

"Yeah going, good night to you too".

I was very hungry so I made myself some chicken salami sandwich and grabbed some juice from the refrigerator and ate alone with my thoughts about all that happened this week. Then I went to my room after to get some much needed sleep.
