Next morning Steve was up before daylight. After breakfast he cleaned an oiled both rifle and pistol before leaving the cabin. It was almost daylight and he wanted to be back before noon.
Taking the four wheeler and trailer he headed north up the valley arriving right at daybreak. Upon arrival he looked around spotting both dog and wolf close behind. This was comforting for some reason, he guessed he just didn"t feel quite so alone when they were there. He knew that it was highly unlikely anything would slip up on him unnoticed when they were around.
After rolling and tying the hide as tight as possible, he proceeded to roll it up into the trailer. After that, he gathered up all the fence material and placed it beside the hide.
