“His heart is already tied…”
Just like a broken record, those words kept on playing inside my head. No matter how I tried to shake those thoughts away, I just couldn't. The image of Caspian while wiping Juliette's tears flashed vividly in my mind, making me feel as if I was stabbed in the chest. It was painful.
I shouldn't feel this way, I reminded myself. But maybe it was his genuine concern, the kindness he showed me and his thoughtfulness that made me see him in a different way…in a different light. It was his actions that made me fall for him unconsciously. Fear crept into my heart as I slowly started to realize my true feelings for him.
