I looked at Miranda and then at Connor. I could only imagine how unpleasant my facial expression must be. Connor, on the other hand, had no clue. "Thank you, Miranda. I'll be ready tomorrow," he said. "Anything else I can do for you?" Miranda was all smiles. My insides burned. "That'll be all," Connor dismissed her. He turned to me after she left. He finally noticed the bitter look on my face and furrowed his eyebrows. "What's wrong?" he asked. "What's wrong? Why is the flirty Mctitty going on a trip with you?" I snapped. Connor blinked twice as if to try and register the nickname I gave her. "What?" he asked. "Your fangirl Mindy. Why is she going?" "She is my assistant, so I need her with me," he shrugged. "Well, I don't approve!" I declared. "Anya, come on..." I glared at him.
