Connor and I walked into the party after a few hours. I was still in a daze from earlier. It took me forever to get out of bed. Connor had to drag me out. "Do I look okay?" I asked him. I needed to look hot in order to show Miranda that she doesn't stand a chance. "Beautiful," Connor smiled. There weren't too many people in the apartment. I did recognize a few people from high school and stopped to talk to them. I didn't see the host, Miranda, anywhere. "She is upstairs, finishing up something," Sally, who used to be in my math class said. She narrowed her eyes at me. "So you and Connor, huh? I'm not surprised," she grinned.
