Chapter 15 Looking out across the lake, Ruth followed the curve of Ashbridge’s Bay until her gaze met the CN Tower. She’d never liked that thing. Too phallic. But, then, there wasn’t much she appreciated about the city. It had been years since she’d enjoyed heading downtown. “Maybe we should give this art thing a miss.” “Why?” Agnes asked. “It’s such a nice day.” “There’s a chill in the air.” “Of course there is.
