I walked out to the car that pulled up outside the house right on time. I was wearing the beautiful red dress that Lucas surprised me with. He always knew red was my color. My hair was adorn with waves and my make up was subtle, but on point. I waived to Mia as I went into the backseat of the car.
"Hi!" I said excitedly. "Where are we going?" I was bouncing up and down on the seat, excited and anxious. I hated surprises but I guess sometimes, they were good. At least this one started off romantic.
The driver didn't say anything and pulled away. I fixed my bracelet and patted my dress, waiting for the destination to arrive.
"So, what's your name?" I needed some sort of conversation since the radio wasn't playing.
"Would you like some water?" he asked me, handing me a bottle of water.
