Jeremy After searching our vehicles, we came up with a tire iron and a hammer and went to work on the small door at the back of the building. After a lot of swearing, we finally broke whatever was holding it closed from the other side and were able to push the door open. Even though it was broad daylight, I shivered uncomfortably as I shone my flashlight into the gloom. It felt like the darkness absorbed the light, much like that eerie isolation room we found upstairs. "Who is going in?" Eli asked in his best attempt to sound cheerful.
