Elijah “Play it again,” I said, leaning close to the screen as though that would make the image clearer. I watched the blurry spot move across the frame toward the small hidden door in the attic, and then simply disappear into the wall. I was tempted to discount it as a distortion in the footage, as it had no definable shape, and did not seem to emit or absorb any light.
