“ Yes “ I breathed against his lips. There I’d said it, it was out there and I couldn’t take it back, but it was the truth , his face twisted in what looked like pain. “ Do you fear me ?” He opened his eyes and they were all black again, but this time around his eyes looked different too the skin was darker. His features started to change to where they were sharper again, his skin going porcelain white, his lips got redder. I tried to pull back but he wouldn’t let me. “ Do you fear me ?”. Surely this wasn’t right. I was seeing things had to be. I was freaking out he wasn’t trying to hide it. He wasn’t looking away and then looking back at me again, looking normal like he usually would.
I couldn’t question my sanity here and wonder if I’d just seen things , this was him revealing himself
