The next day…
Amanda was outside on the terrace speaking to her friend.
“So how’s the big man?” Mason asked in a cheery tone of voice as per usual.
“He’s fine, I slipped some medicine in his soup. Surprisingly enough he didn’t notice.” Amanda said as she took a puff from her cigarette.
“You cooked?” Mason questioned as he listened to the woman’s steady breathing.
“I did. It was no big deal, just following a recipe.” Amanda answered as she exhaled a puff of smoke.
“Smoking again huh?” Mason remarked after listening in.
“Just a little bit… To calm my nerves.” Amanda answered with a voice as calm as a river.
“Haha… this woman Claire really is getting to you… Isn’t she?” Mason said with a questionable tone in his voice. He seemed to be enjoying the situation
