“Hello…” Ken had sneaked away from Amanda and went inside the orphanage.
“Ken, do you want something?” The caretaker miss Williams asked as she saw the child had left Amanda’s side. He usually stayed next to her at all times.
“Albert…” Ken spoke in one word sentences but from his gaze it was obvious he has something to say to the CEO.
“Yes, Ken?” Albert asked as he heard his name mentioned by the child. He stood up from his chair approached the kid and knelt down to meet him at eye level. “I’m listening…” He said.
“You are Amanda’s husband… right?” Ken asked as if to confirm once more if what he had heard was true.
Albert smiled at the boy and replied. “Yes, I am.”
