“This is a really-really horrible idea” By this point Theo is not surprised at how almost all of her conversation with Hayden starts with those same words or something similar to it.
“This is ingenious and you know it” Hayden says literally swaying on his feet out of the pure excitement grinning like an evil scientist who had just awaked his greatest creation.
It just makes her question the whole thing further and even more queasy, you see ‘ingenious’ in Hayden’s vocabulary translates into ‘stupid’ in everyone else’s.
