Chapter 18 She started crying again. At first it was just a tear or two rolling down her cheeks, but then her shoulders started shaking and she doubled over under the weight of it all. I can’t say I ever consciously decided to walk across the room and put my vodka down on the coffee table and put my arms around her. It just kind of happened on its own.
