I had high hopes for this date. It was a good first-date idea. It would not only allow us to talk and get to know each other, but we could also learn about Skaydal’s history. The museum wasn’t very big, and I hadn’t been here in ages, but it was only the first part of our date.
“I didn’t know Skaydal had a museum,” Veronica remarked as we headed up the steps to the entrance.
“It’s a small bit of history,” I offered. This was a good idea. This would be a good date. We headed inside, and the place was deserted. However, that didn’t surprise me. The museum had been pretty busy after it had opened. Everyone had been eager to see what Grayson and his family had come up with. The woman sitting by the receptionist's desk smiled when she spotted us. I was glad I had called ahead of time
