“It"s on my cell phone. I don"t know it off hand,” he said. “Why?”
I reached over and he handed me his cell phone.

“You"ll see in a moment.” I scrolled through his contacts, didn"t find Ellwood but found El. “Is it El?”
“Yeah. Don"t like long names, so I shorten them,” he said.

I called the number and Ellwood answered, “What"s up?”
