On the return trip the only sound flooding my ears was the motor of the boat. I suggested AJ tell Weeks what happened on the way home from Wisconsin, because I guaranteed he would be asking him. I said if he volunteered, it would go better for him. Maybe the penalty would be less, too. “Tell your parents first.
