“Oh, just under fifty miles per hour,” he said. After a few minutes he asked, “Having fun?” It wasn"t so bad, I thought, looking around as we zoomed along. “It gets you up river pretty fast,” I said. “It sure does.” “You fish any?” “Some.” “Where are we going?” I asked, still having to shout above the motor. “There"s a nice place a few miles up here. I thought we could get something to drink, and we can talk.” He had to yell over the noise of the motor.
