“WHAT DO you mean the guards are outside?” Rita sprung into action. She stood up from the wooden chair so fast it scraped back. I was about to get up too, but the old woman told me to sit tight. She walked over to the window and peeked. Whatever she saw, it must have been bad. Flint nodded. “That’s what I mean.” “What? What’s wrong?” I asked both of them in panic.
