FINDING KNOX was not difficult at all. I could find him near the dining room where he confided in. I almost went by him when I caught the sound of a page flipping over, the cracking of firewood, and the swish of ice on glass. I peeked through the gap in the door, discovering Knox sitting with his back relaxed on the recliner couch. The light from the burning fire cast the perfect orange and red shadows on his face.
