FROM THE look of it, it seemed like Knox also had a good idea about whose sigil he was holding in his hand. His face visibly hardened as if the thought was capable of creating havoc. Throwing the sigil down to the ground, he crushed it with his heavy boots. Knox cursed under his breath and looked around toward his little army. “We need to go now,” he barked. “Don’t leave anything behind. And make sure you travel safely because we’re not stopping for anything!” Everyone saluted and moved simultaneously. They listened to Knox’s command without even questioning why. Some of the other knights who were not near us when the vigil was found looked rather confused, but they moved nonetheless. Some were already halfway packing, while some stood on guard knowing that there might be danger lurking.
