When Emily's eyes opened to a disturbing sound the next morning, she was startled to see Jayden mounting next to her bed near the monitor.
She quickly straightened her back and clutched the white sheet closer to her chest. Nevertheless, the pain that shot through her belly made her tighten her lashes together and swallow a yelp.
