Elvira Burton waited for her daughter, Joy, from the living room of her daughter’s chambers.
Elvira had chosen some dresses and matching sets of jewelry for her daughter, Joy so that she could participate in the upcoming ball.
She knew her husband and most importantly her son, Ryan was against her participating in the ball as she was only a sixteen year old child in their eyes.
But, Joy was not a child in Elvira’s eyes. She knew that Joy was growing up and it was time to introduce her to attend formal meetings. Elvira had seen many of the girls in the courting session somewhat shy about the social gatherings and being in a large crowd.
