Chapter 2

I woke up to someone breathing on my neck.I fluttered my eyes open to see Shawn sitting up with a creepy grin on his face.His sky blue eyes greeted me and I groan and hit him on his arm.

"Well good morning to you too".he said sarcastically rubbing him arm.

"Sorry, why are you here by the way?" I asked while going into the bathroom.

"Well I didn't have a thing to do at home so I came over and you were sleeping so I made my self useful and unpack the rest of your boxes for you".

I came back into the room after my bathroom duty and sat down seeing my room was clear of boxes.

"Thanks mate I totally forgot about my stuff last night".

He smiled. "What are friend for?"

We made our way downstairs to see everyone at the table.

"Morning kiddo,morning Shaw",my dad said as we took our seats at the table.

"Morning".We said in union. Mum made pancake and eggs and we all ate talking about random stuffs.

"Wanna go tour the neighborhood", I asked Shaw who had zone out of our conversation.

"Yea let's go".

"Can I come too?". Katie asked.

"Of course". I replied and we got up and made our way through the front door.

"Don't stay too long!" Mum shouted from the door step as we turn the corner.

It was a nice neighborhood with lots of elderly outside waving to us and trees that's seems to hang over the road.There was a park at the end of the second block with kids playing non-stop.

"Katie? Wanna go play" I asked her.

"Nope too old for slide,swings,sand pits or monkey bars" she said looking around for someone her age but failed.

We sat on one of the benches the three of us zoning out to our own little world until Katie scream.

"Ahh that hurt who threw that!?" she said she took up a cell phone and rubbing her arm.

Shaw and I laugh and Katie shot us a warning look and we stopped immediately.

"Sorry".A girl said skipping toward us

"It was meant to go....we'll I don't know I got mad and it because I can't get the auto-correct off and threw it but I didn't mean for it to hit you".

Katie look at the phone and tapped on it before handing it back to the girl.

"Here I took it off for you".

"Thanks". the girl said looking amused.

"I'm Joe by the way".

"I'm Katie and this is Wellow and Shaw".she pointed at us.

"sup,hi".We said.

She waved and she and kattie walked off talking andvleaving Shaw and I. A boy about our age past by with a dog and I watch him till Shaw said something.

"So when are you ganna start dating again?".Shaw asked ruffling my hair.

"No time soon". I said looking around at the kids.

"Aww come on wel.I understand your pain but you need to move on and find someone,start dating and find someone who can help you forget about da-" I interrupted him.

"Don't say his name......Besides I have you". He sighed.

"I don't count Wel". I took in a deep breath and exhale.

"Fine,maybe I'll see someone I like at school tomorrow".I said playing with my wrist band.

"Good boy and stop playing with that thing!" he slapped my hand away and I pouted.

We waited for katie to come back and we headed back home.Katie's went inside and Shaw and I went to his house.

"Hey Wellow".Shaw's dad greeted as we past him on the staircase.

"Sup Mr.Anderson". I said

We went into Shaw's room he turned on a movie and we laid on his bed on our stomach watching the movie.Shaw went don't stairs a couple minutes after and came back with a bowl of chips and two sodas and my favorite..snickers chocolate.

"I know how much you love these so I bought a box for whenever you came over".he threw it to me.

"Thanks". I muttered.

We watch more movies until it was 6 o'clock.I went back home taking through our back yard.

It was dinner time and we were at the table talking.

"I made a friend today and she goes to my new school ". Katie cheered.

"Thats great love you can bring her over anytime you want" mum said.

"What about you Wel?". dad asked.

"I made one if Shaw counts".I said and they all laugh.

"No it does not" dad replied."You'll meet a lot tomorrow".

I nodded and finish my dinner,said good night to everyone and made my way up to my room and into the bathroom.After I got out I put on some boxers,a sweat pants and took out my lip and tongue rings and crawled in to bed not before setting the alarm.In no time my eyes were shut and I drift off into a peaceful sleep.
