The date that Mayumi prepared for us today is to go on a picnic and do some horseback riding. I did not want to boast about my horseback riding skills; but Selene, Akio, and I are actually already a pro at it. “Pro” meaning it was something that we did so much as a kid that our skills are at least above average. This also means that I can assure us both that I really can teach her well enough.
