What goes around comes around. That saying has never been truer. Well played universe, well played.
"Are we even now?" she asks.
"I've had your junk in my face, you've got up close and personal with mine, can we call a truce now?" she asks.
I chuckle. "Yeah, truce. I guess we're even now..." I snicker, crawling to my knees.
I grab her arms, sitting her up, and we both glare at Clay licking the glass door while Cyclops hisses at him from the other side of the glass.
"There's something wrong with him," she states. There will be when he gets home, I think to myself, already planning my revenge on the mischievous wolf.
But for now, I focus on helping Maya up and making sure she's okay, hoping the rest of our day will be less chaotic and embarrassing than it has been so far.
