“Damien” I tried again. Suddenly about six black cars pull up to the lake, capturing the attention of the wolves. I stiffened in Damien’s hold. I smelled the air. They were here. Every wolf looked up suddenly, forgetting what they were doing and walking up to where I was standing, making Damien hurriedly let go. I pushed the sad feeling aside, watching the vampires get out of their cars. It was almost sunset; the perfect time for vampires to come out and play. I groaned internally.
