-Blanche-
How can she have over one shadow? No, she should have one shadow at all. Even less one stronger than the other!
This witch came prepared for sure. Kassandra had the upper hand from the beginning, and she knew it. Our fight against her was embarrassing. We are a disgrace!
She punched me in the stomach really, really hard, knocking all the air out of me. My diaphragm spasmed violently, as an intense, searing sensation overflowed my midsection.
Everything was happening in slow motion in my head.
I was heaving when falling for what seemed like an eternity, but Andre caught me before I could hit the floor.
I was groaning and feeling like puking right there. Goddess!
Kassandra was eloping with my engagement necklace and Mina!
“No!” I screamed when Kassandra smirked, crossing with my kitty. Mina, my baby!
My friends were defeated, everything we planned and did was for nothing! I was beyond humiliated by Kassandra. How could I be so stupid? I should have considered her as a potential enemy!
I was angry at myself, but I glared daggers at Andre. Instead of helping me, he should have attacked Kassandra. But he is a Lycan. He can't help it, it is only... this can't end like this. I had to stop her!
I incorporated and grabbed the arm of the fourth and last Kassandra. She only smiled at me and pushed me again, as if I were nothing!
Was this one the original Kassandra? This witch is damn strong! And the portal she was using!
"Kassandra, what magic have you summoned for this?"
She didn't reply, disappearing into the portal.
“Mina!” I yelled as the portal closed. It was back to being a mirror again.
I kneeled defeated in front of the mirror and cried. Mina, my kitty, my little one…
“I’m sorry,” Andre told me but didn’t approach me, due to his embarrassment.
It wasn't his fault. When I turned to look at him, I saw Adela lying unconscious on the floor, Kassandra had to strike her down first. Francisco was back to his senses and attending to her. I can see my friend caring for her, truly.
I know Andre feels awful, too. He was right about the ancient magic in that device. And Mina? What did Kassandra sense in her that I couldn´t?
The mirror was scarlet red when Kassandra opened the portal. It was a freaking demonic one.
Oh, Goddess! Three shadows, new potion formulas, a freaking portal... She must have sold her soul for it. This kind of magic doesn't exist in our world!
I heard my friends groaning.
I stood up and was about to tell Andre my theory when Andy flew back inside thru the window carrying Blair. Her head was bleeding. Morgana was helping Circe to incorporate, even though she was not in good shape.
“Blair needs help!” He yelled. Morgana limped towards them.
We were careless and overconfident in the power of four. Each one of us represents a cardinal place due to birth's place, our powers complete each other. We are stronger together, yet Kassandra beat us so easily!
Andre and I were out of words, standing there, looking at each other as minutes passed. Everyone was retreating, leaving the office, injured.
Only Andre and I stayed.
“My Love,” Andre finally said, “I am truly sorry.” the pain in his eyes matched my pain.
“I’m the one who should apologize.” There were tears in my eyes that I cleaned with the back of my hand. “She took the ancient necklace of your family.”
He has nothing to be ashamed of. I do. It was Kassandra, the criminal. My grandmother.
“She kidnapped our Mina,” he told me. The distance between us felt wrong. I needed to be in his arms. “I swear…” Andre was so sad. As I took a step toward him, I raised my arm to grab him.
Andre gave a brief smile, everyone was recovering. Involuntarily, I smiled at him. We can get back what was taken from us.
I was not prepared for the force that pulled back and flushed me thru the portal.
My fingertips had barely touched Andre’s when I was sucked into the portal. The last thing I saw was the terrified look in my mate’s eyes.

My mate was coming to me with pink cheeks, truly embarrassed and sad after what had happened.
I watched in horror as a shadow circled my mate in seconds and pulled her into the mirror that shined like blinding silver.
“Blanche!” I growled and threw myself thru the portal after her.
I allowed my Lycan took over. I was healed now and, while shifting into my enlarged beastly body, I got a hold on Blanche throughout whatever the hell this channel was. She was unconscious.
I hugged Blanche for dear life and closed my eyes.
The pain was almost unbearable while hugging her. It was like Blanche was made of pure silver and I was stubbed by tiny needles on my back. Yet, it would take a lot more than that to make me let go of Blanche.
I sucked the pain in for who knows how long until a pulling sensation twisted my insides from my belly button and expanded in my entire body. It numbed my senses for a second, and then it broke my bones into small pieces!
Shit!
Fuck!
I was sweating and panting, holding a scream back.
I have felt the pain of breaking bones before shifting into my Lycan. But now my Lycan bones were breaking over and over again. The smell of Blanche vanished, but she was still in my arms. I felt her...
I wasn't letting go of my witch anytime soon, and I wasn't passing out. Someone or something wanted to take Blanche away from me. My Lycan and I would never allow it. We had to stay conscious. I could lose my Kingdom, my friends... everything, but not Blanche...
When the pain was beyond what I could take, I screamed until my lungs burn. Blanche and I kept falling inside this emptiness where I had no idea what was happening besides the pain.
Suddenly, the pain was gone, and I felt the ground under my feet. I opened my eyes, panting.
Blanche was in my arms, safe and sound. But she wasn't the same... Her hair! I took a deep breath of her scent and stood strong as I could. My Lycan was present and he was also different. How can he...? What happened? What's going on here?
And this place… I looked around. Where are we? I have never seen it before, yet it was familiar… Oh, crap!
What the hell!
