I called Dr:Leila In my room, she will be here anytime soon, considering the fact that I’m hundred percent that she was the one who helped Ever escape. Once I find her I am not going to let her go, at any cost. Coming back to my mate? She is in the jail cells right now with her lover. But, I’m not going to let my mind wander off to my betrayal of a mate and a sickish boy right now. They are not worth it. I have to find Ever. She is what I want, and finding her is my main priority. I need to apologise, being a King I ruined her life for no reason. I have to say sorry, she is just a 18 year old girl. My king duties went off the road for awhile, but Italy business is finished and I hope to return back to states soon. I got up from my seat and went out my room into the hallway, as I passed by my living room in my chamber I saw something there, a shirt? I got closer and picked it up, it’s scent hit me with stones, its Ever’s. I inhaled it deeply and went to place it in my room. Why does her scent smells like cherries and vanilla? As if all the lavenders in the world have been placed underneath her feet? The smell was overwhelming me. There was a knock on the door which made me jump in surprise, I was so lost thinking about Ever.

“Come in!” I yelled loud enough for the person to hear. I placed Ever’s shirt in my drawer and went to see who the hell decided to disturb me?

I saw Brendan with Dr-Leila, oh this will be fun.

“King.” Said Brendan as bowed down his head. “King.” Said Leila as she bowed down her head too.

“So Dr Leila? Care to explain where’s she?” I asked Leila, I couldn’t even wait to sit and then start talking, I threw the question as soon as I saw her filthy self.

“I won’t ask again Leila, if you wish to live, speak up.” I threatened. But I guess she wasn’t going to speak so soon. She stood there like a dummy while Brendan was looking at me with is-she-mad eyes?

“Okay, I guess Tuscany isn’t far away from here you know? Islas?” I said in a mocking manner and faked a smile knowing she belonged from that family. Alpha Blood to be exact that’s why I had her as a doctor in my castle.

She flinched in surprise, and opened closed her mouth like a fish.

“I –, I will t-tell you King, if you make a deal with m-me.” Leila proposed as if I was desperate for information and I depended on her. Oh boy how wrong she was! I may demand information but the person only has two options 1) Answer or 2)Die, there is no third option of making a deal!

I got up from my seat and I was about to shift that Brendan stopped me, what was he up to now?

“James. May I?” Brendan used my name, he’s my best friend but we lost that relation when I turned into a King. “You may.” I spoke up and nodded. I don’t know what to do, I don’t like being helpless.

“Leila? Ryder and Irene are to get married you know? So if we contact Ryder whose King’s cousin. I’m sure your sister will face the consequences. Speak up or else –,”He couldn’t finish the threat apparently the half of it was enough to make her talk. “Okay Okay I will tell please don’t do anything like that.” pleading and crying she answered. Smart move Brendan, real smart. I smirked at Leila and moved my hand to let her know to start talking, “Speak up now would you?” I yelled getting impatient. This girl was on my nerves now!

“King James, Ever wanted to go because she thought now you know she’s innocent and it’s no use for her to stay here, and –,”

She was right, she is innocent but it’s all the use in the world for me if she had stayed. I want her, she’s mine, and only mine. What and?

“And?” I asked calmly, my anger taking over and Ben almost getting out. My wolf was about to get out. s**t.

‘Ben control?’

‘I’m controlled, I’m not getting out, you are mistaken, it’s your anger, you are pissed’

What? I guess I should be calmed. If I have to find her, I should be calmed.

“She-she,” Leila stuttered, what the f**k is wrong? What else is there to tell?”

“Tell.Me.Now.” I gnashed my teeth, I was f*****g pissed now.

“Shesaidyouwouldkillthebaby.” Speaking extremely fast, and fiddling with her fingers as if this was crime scene! “She said I would kill the what?” I stood up and stepped closer. I don’t want to believe what I heard, No. “The baby James, the girl was pregnant.” Brendan informed me. Why would she lie? Why would I kill the baby? How dare I? I would never think such thing! I would hold it and be a good father not kill it. Why Ever? I know Why. Because I hurt her and she hates me.

My head was spinning by now and all my thoughts were randomly messed. The baby was definitely mine. Brendan looked at me with disgusted eyes, I took some water out the fridge and drank half of it while poured the other half on myself, dripping wet. I shuddered, I shook my head hastily. Clenching my jaw and fists I was about to lunge at Leila and was again stopped by Brendan, How dare he?

“Let me kill her! Because of her my baby and Ever are gone! Do you realise they may be in danger?” I yelled frustratedly. The thought of them getting hurt was killing me, I couldn’t afford to think about that, yet.

“James? James? JAMES!” Someone yelled outside the door. That was my little brother.

I couldn’t continue this in front of him,

“Brendan go handle him, we are going somewhere else to continue this.” After telling Brendan this, I basically manhandled Leila out the back door of my room and through the secret hallway.

I was thinking about proof, proof that she was with my baby. Maybe she said that I would kill the baby and all so she could make the doctor help her? Maybe.

“The results? And tests? Where are they! Show. Me.” Through gritted teeth I demanded Leila for the proof.

“King, King James, they are in the health room.” She spoke up, finally no stuttering, it was pissing me.

We walked through the secret hallway, It was made so in critical situations and when any attacks or war took place, we would use it. I was very glad I never had to use any secret hallways in all my castles and pack houses.

She led me into the health room and started to search through many papers and then finally came up with some to me.

“Here, these are the tests I took.” She told me,

“As much as I want to rip your throat I won’t. Start telling me where did you help her go? Where is she now?” my anger got the best of me, it always does, I almost ripped the tests. Looking at those papers, there were some lines on it with a lot of spaces. But all I could read was “Positive +”.

She really was pregnant with my baby.

“King James? King James?” Snapped out of my thoughts,

“Yea?” I asked her.

“She is in –,” Before she could go on her phone started ringing.

She saw the name and put it back, she looked taken aback.

“Answer it?” I said raising my eyebrows. Something was wrong.

“King it’s no one.” She stuttered looking down.

“ANSWER IT!”

“Ok, Ok.” She said and answered it.

“On speaker now.” I whisper yelled at her!

She put the call on speaker.

‘Hello?’ A guy spoke up.

‘Yeah, Alvaro?’ Leila replied.

‘Your friend, she I met her you know?’ The boy said and I had a solid guess that they were talking about Ever. And Alvaro Isla, he is an Alpha. He handles my Tuscany business. She was with him? He being with any other man? It pissed me.

‘Yea, so?’ Leila spoke. I was standing in front of her my arms crossed.
