Kidnapped by the Alpha King

“Are you feeling any better?" A ladylike voice spoke out. I was shocked and surprised to hear any other voice in this room. I haven't heard a single voice beside him for 3 days now.

"I'm doctor Leila, I see the bruises are okay but you should take care of yourself you know?" She said really concerned, bruises? My bruises are just fine, how can I take care of myself When these bruises are placed there on purpose?

I tried to sit up and was successful though I was literally swore and my head hurt.

"Alpha King is coming back, he was supposed to go to America but there's been a rumour that his brother thinks that you're innocent. And I have heard his brother's mate say that King's mate betrayed him." She spoke in a whisper-like slow tone. Her words made me happy but still I felt no good because of the condition. The nerve of him, he wouldn't believe me. His mate betrayed him? Aren't mates supposed to be all lovey dovey giddy middy mushy wushy? I refused to let any sympathy come in my heart for him. HE WAS A MONSTER. And he shall stay one, Forever and Always.

"Doctor? Can you do me this little yet huge favor?" I asked the doctor making her confused, I knew what I was about to say may or may not be tremendously wrong or impossible but yet,

"Go on tell please?" She said, knowing that maybe or maybe not she'd get in ALOT of trouble. "What If I tell you to help me escape, please? What If I tell you that he-the alpha king has threatened to force me and beat me to death almost two times since three days back when I arrived?" I spilled the truth hoping maybe this would cause a spark of sympathy and warmness in her heart for me, I needed to go before he'd come and say sorry or not say, maybe not. I should be gone before he's even back, I should not stay here for him to come and say that I can now go because his mate betrayed him? I had no courage not stamina to his face anymore. He had broken me enough already.

"What?" She gasped in amazement and horror, her eyes widened at the very moment making me jump a little.

"Yes, Leila you may help me please." I pleaded as I was about shed tears, broken heartbeats.

"But, what if he finds you?" She demanded,

Firstly he's going to let me go because I'm innocent? Secondly I will run away after a final goodbye to my family.

"If he will, I still won't leak your name, trust me, Leila." I assured her, please say yes.

"I don't know about this Miss." She claimed, a hopeless emotion washed through me but then my spirits went high again.

"I'm carrying his baby." I informed her, lying through my teeth. 

Ever's POV.

She was looking at me with those confused and shocked eyes. Her mouth was hanging open and her hands on her mouth, I just lied to her face. How can I be so stupid? But there's one more lie to go, the game changing one.

"And do you know what Miss Leila? He wants to kill this baby." I informed her, acting like it was all true. Sorrow and sadness pretended to fill me, I wasn't carrying his baby and nor was I telling the truth about him wanting to kill the baby.

But to get Leila to help me I needed to lie.

"Are you serious?! Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry." She was overreacting now, maybe because it's a tiny baby? But well she had emotions. I also started to cry because I realised if I run I don't have anywhere to go to. The thought of my family disowning me was just unbearable.

"So will you help me Leila?" I asked her, thinking that my little act must've pulled out a thread of hope. "Of course! This baby won't die." She positively answered wiping her tears and giving me a -it's okay- smile. A little guilt wave got me consumed but it's for the best, I reminded myself.

Leila said that he as the king will be back in about 2 and a half hours so after one hour she'll take me out the castle saying I am in a critical condition. His brother is in the castle and somehow I thought of going and talking to him, he after all thinks I'm innocent. But, I have to escape, that's all that matters. Then Leila said she'll give me some money and escort me to another city and that'd be Tuscany, she said she had family there and he could maybe help me.

I was extremely thankful for her kindness. She really did help me. She said she'd want my blood to run some tests and some x rays too. Thinking I was pregnant. Which I clearly wasn't, I wish I didn't had to lie. I gave her my blood samples and I have the x rays too. She didn't have time to examine them though because there was a precise knock on the door and she hid everything in the medical room of the castle where we were right that moment.

"Miss Leila, are you in there?" A young steady voice spoke.

"Y-yes, Gilbert. What is it?" She asked as she told me to hide somewhere and I took the opportunity to go in the medicine cupboard.

"I have news you asked for." He finished with an amused smile I imagined on his face.

"You may come in and spill," Leila said rather bossily, maybe.

"The brother is sure Miss, Alpha Dylan says the girl is innocent and King's mate is the one who set up all that drama to get away with her lover, last but not the least Miss, the news is that the King knows that, and he is swearing he'll kill both his mate and lover." Gilbert, that's what his name is, finished the story and rumours he had heard. My emotions and feelings were a mixture of hurt,shocked and sympathetic. I know it's hardly easy to forgive the person who assaults you but oh well, his mate betrayed him. None of my concern, literally. I am gone within an hour. Then his life, his rules and everything will go as smoothly as it did before his mate pulled such a drama that shook off the whole werewolf species. She is such a heartless prude. How heartless of her! I had an urge to strangle her. No my dear not because she hurt the King but because of her I was in this mess. She is the reason for my situation. May she die, that's the most enormously venomous thing I can say.

Not to mention that boyfriend of hers? Why steal something of someone else's?

Whatever, all this? Is not my concern.

"The rumour is spreading fast Miss. The girl's parents are aware and wish to talk to the King about her return-" that's all I needed to hear to enlighten my mood, from depressed and sad it went high up to extremely happy. My family wants me back, a smile spread across my face. I was smiling like an i***t, I am just so happy.

"Wow. I mean such a Brutal Mate, how can a mate be so heartless?" Leila wondered.

"Yes true, miss. Alpha will be back in an hour." He informed me and left, I think because I heard the door being closed. I got out of the cupboard and saw Leila who was mentioning me wearing a cloak, so I did wore one and we left the room. Making our way through guards, lying almost every time we crossed paths with someone. It was such an obstacle to get out of the castle. But when we were finally out, I saw the sun and welcomed it's rays on my whole body removing the cloak. I was smiling, it's been a long time.

Leila left me at the bus station, I was finally relieved. I'm free.

Getting on the bus and leaving the past behind, I went to Tuscany with some of Leila's relatives. I think that going back to the states is not an option, to a family who doesn't trust me enough.

I'm gonna settle in Tuscany, I have my decision made.

Finally when I will settle in Tuscany, James chapter of my life is going to be over. Tuscany is spontaneous and beautiful. A perfect place for a person like me, I just imagine myself gardening in my own little house with someone I love- snapping me out my thoughts I had a sudden itching in my shoulder, someone pinched me. "OW!" I cried, as I looked beside my seat in the bus, I could see a very handsome guy. "Hey, you've been lost in your dreamland for quite awhile, I thought I should bring you back to reality." He explained, I just made an "oh" expression, when I sniffed the air, I came to know he was a werewolf.
