We left Bill’s picnic mid-afternoon to make the two-hour drive to Longview in time for a second picnic at Lake Sacajawea Park, where the bulk of Aiden’s extended birth family would be gathered to welcome him back into the fold. “Are Grandma Ada and Grandpa Rolo going to be there, too?” asked Aiden.
