My morning is going well so far. I was in the chow hall at the newly assigned table listening to the others talk.
"The reaping was crazy." Hugo blurted out.
"Did you see what Obsidian did? I almost puked." Eliza chimed in.
Alexander and I just looked at each other. Then I glanced over to the empty spot where Noel sat yesterday. "I miss Noel already," I said, feeling bummed. Sophia rubbed my back.
"I'm glad he got out. He's a good kid." Jake said, smiling at me.
"He almost died. That damn crazy she-wolf thought she could get out of it. Like Domina said, blood for blood." Vladimir pointed.
