Chapter 42 If I had a room of my own, I didn’t know it. It didn’t feel right, sleeping alone. Every time I closed my eyes, Orion and Apollo danced in my mind. Orion’s head being cut off. Apollo’s hate filled eyes as he shot Gable. Every moment I was alone, I glanced over my shoulder waiting for the next thing that might try to kill me. I only felt safe in Gable’s arms. He might have done monstrous things, but at least he was a monster I knew. If anyone was going to eat me alive, I would much rather have it be him than anyone else. They did not tell me the name of the place that we were staying at. It was a large, old country estate in the middle of a place that looked suspiciously like Scotland. But having never been to Scotland, I couldn’t say for sure. I knew I needed to train. T
