VIVIAN'S POV
I sat in the front room, drinking coffee and looking over my phone. Danielle had been texting me more often and we had been spending a while catching up on what had been going on. I still hadn't told her about Julian or about anything that was going on around me aside from a few terrible guests at work, my parents, and one of my college courses that was giving me h*ll.
I brought my cup of hot coffee to my lips and peered up when I saw Julian storm into the room. My gaze flicked to a few of my textbooks in his hand and Nathaniel standing beside him. My heart immediately sank, and my eyes widened, as adrenaline rushed through me in a fight or flight response. Should I try to run, or should I stay and fight for what I wanted. My mom didn't raise a b*tch, so I chose to stay.
