            Nick was a straight-up bastard! I hated him with every fiber of my being. I know that I made the choice to meet him, but I only had one thing on my mind, and that was protecting my friends. Now, coming here didn’t seem as simple as it did in my head. Nick would never let me go, not without wreaking havoc first.             Somehow, I needed to get a message to Mia. I needed her to tell Cole to get Joel to stop looking for me.
